There is plenty to do at the beach and nearby Rosherville Reserve -go fishing, swimming, or standup paddleboarding. If you’re looking for an adventure, there are some great bush trails nearby that offer fantastic views of the harbour. There’s also plenty of spots to stop and have a picnic while admiring the waterfront scenery.
If you’re looking for something more relaxing, there are plenty of places to relax on the sand or take a leisurely stroll along the shoreline. The water is crystal clear and perfect for taking a dip on a hot summer day. The beach rarely gets busy as it is mainly frequented by locals.
Not only does the beach provide beautiful views, but it also backs onto Rosherville Reserve, offering countless options for recreation and entertainment for the whole family. Your children will enjoy playing at the sheltered playground and if you’re wanting to enjoy lunch on your day out, there are BBQs, and picnic tables available in the reserve as well as toilets and showers. Plus, with all the large trees around there’s always plenty of shade.
Parking is available near the reserve, although that can be costly. If you are willing to walk a little, there is street parking available a little further from the beach.

You can expect sunny days most of the year and temperatures in summer averaging 25-30 degrees Celsius at times with gentle breezes cooling things down. Come winter, the average daytime temperatures are still pleasant at around 18-20 degrees Celsius, but after dark they drop to around 8 degrees Celsius.
